If you're shopping around for a new gaming console, then you'll obviously need some new games too.

GameStop has a wide selection of deals on some of the hottest games out there, so your gaming inventory can fill up quick. Here are our picks for the coolest discounted games that'll make great last-minute holiday gifts.

PS4 games

NieR: Automata

The surprise smash hit of 2017 is most certainly a must-buy. You play as androids 2B and 9S as they combat vicious robots and encounter existential conundrums about their souls in this action-packed and emotional thrill ride.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Naughty Dog delivers a new story in their critically-acclaimed Uncharted series. Fan favorite Chloe Frazer stars in her own adventure as she travels to recover an ancient artifact and keep it out of the clutches of a war profiteer.

Injustice 2

Your favorite DC heroes and villains are still beating the crap out of each other in one of 2017's coolest-looking fighting games. This game picks up five years after the events of the first game, where Batman's efforts at fixing the world after Superman's attempted conquest are interrupted by an alien invasion that calls upon DC's enormous pantheon to stop.

Skyrim PSVR

The fifth Elder Scrolls installment has persisted throughout the years since its 2011 release, and now it brings its open world adventure to VR. You'll get to relive all of the mountain-climbing, dragon-slaying, Fus-ro-dahing action of this classic game with your VR headset and Playstation Move.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode

The newest addition to the .hack franchise remasters the original 2006 trilogy. Follow along with Haseo, a player of the MMORPG called "The World", who tries to solve a troubling mystery: as characters die in the game, their players start to fall into comas in the real world. The collection also includes an all-new, playable epilogue story.

Xbox One games

Call of Duty WWII

The latest installment of Call of Duty takes the FPS back to World War II. Players will get to fight in actual WWII battles and historic landmarks as they mow down Nazis or take on their friends in online matches.

Halo Wars 2

Get back to Xbox basics with their hit franchise in RTS form. Take control of a crew of Spartans from the Spirit of Fire and choose from a variety of different modes as you try to outsmart your opponents with careful planning and frenetic action.

Madden NFL 18

The latest in the series of Madden NFL games supposedly boasts the best visuals in the franchise, which would only serve to add to the unique gameplay that Madden is known for. You get to choose between three play styles and tweak your team to make them your own as you play real world match-ups.

Rocket League: Collector's Edition

The underground hit that pits cars against each other in a game of soccer (yes, really) is a great gift for any gamer. The Collector's Edition includes several DLC packs and brand new vehicles.

Nintendo Switch games

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

In perhaps the oddest video game mash-up since Marvel vs. Capcom, the residents of the Mushroom Kingdom are clashing with wild and crazy Rabbids in this Switch exclusive. Mario, Peach, Luigi, and a whole cast of Mario characters join forces with Rabbids in this tactical strategy game.

Sonic Forces

Eggman and a cast of new and classic Sonic villains are plunging the world into chaos, and it's up to Sonic and his friends to save everyone. Blast through high-octane stages as Modern and Classic Sonic as well as your own original character that you can create yourself.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2

Kang the Conqueror is hopping through time and stealing cities, and it's up to Lego heroes like Captain Marvel, Spider-Man 2099, and the Guardians of the Galaxy to save the day. This game looks to feature a ton of awesome Marvel characters and all the zaniness we can expect from Lego to make for an awesome experience.
