Over the course of the last few years, GoSun has introduced a new wave of outdoor eating by harnessing solar power to let you cook. This eco-friendly cooking device is getting an upgrade by way of the GoSun Go, an ultra portable solar-powered cooker that's currently seeking funding via Kickstarter.

The solar-powered cooker is reportedly lightweight and compact, making it great for camping trips and picnics. Just like its predecessor, it uses the sun to steam, bake, roast, and cook just about anything you need in its specially-designed tube in about 30 minutes. We're told it's always cool to the touch, even when it's preparing your food, so you can apparently handle the GoSun Go without burning yourself.

Campers can even use it to boil water, so you can have fresh drinking water and a steaming cup of tea thanks to the sun.
