TL;DR: A NOW Sky Sports Day Pass is available for just £11.98. This includes a Mobile Pass with access to six months of Sky Sports Premier League.

Fans of the Premier League do not have to wait too much longer. The Community Shield takes place this weekend, which means the return of the Premier League is only just around the corner.

If you are looking for the best and cheapest way to watch Premier League fixtures this season, we have all the information you need.

How to watch the Premier League for under £2 a month

NOW has made its Sky Sports Day Pass available for £11.98. The important thing here is that the pass includes a free six-month Sky Sports Premier League Mobile Pass via the NOW app. That means you're paying under £2 a month for six months of access to Premier League games shown on Sky.

This deal seems almost too good to be true, but there is a catch. You can only watch Sky Sports Premier League on your smartphone. You cannot cast to a TV using Apple AirPlay or Chromecast. And connecting to a TV or monitor via a USB-C to HDMI converter will disable the app's video capabilities. It's your smartphone, or nothing.

You can register the Mobile Pass on up to six smartphones, but streaming is limited to a single device at any given time.

How to get a Sky Sports Mobile Pass

Once you have signed up for a Sky Sports Day Pass, you'll get an email within 10 days detailing your Sky Sports Premier League Mobile Pass activation. This sounds complicated, but it's really not. You're buying a Sky Sports Day Pass that can be used on any device, with a six-month Mobile Pass thrown in for free.

The Sky Sports Mobile Pass includes five channels: Premier League, Racing, News, NFL/Action, and Arena.
