If you have friends that primarily play their games on a PC, you've probably heard them give you a sales pitch once or twice (or every waking moment) about why you should adopt a PC setup of your own. Easier said than done. PC's are expensive, and not everyone has the space for a gigantic desktop.

If you're not ready to commit to a high price tag and just want to dip your feet into the world of PC gaming, a gaming laptop is the way to go. Plus, you can bring it on-the-go with you — what's better than that?

Right now, there are a few great MSI gaming laptops on sale on Amazon — all of them great for beginners that are just starting out.

Here's what you can get:

MSI GF63 (Intel Core i5-9300H) — save $160

This entry-level laptop is super lightweight and portable for a gaming PC — with a great display and decent battery life (you should still keep it plugged in while you play if possible), it's a great way to get started.

MSI GF63 (Intel Core i7-9750H) — save $170.99

The same model as the last one, but with better processing power — if you can afford the price bump, you should go for it.

MSI GV63 (Intel i7-8750H) — save $624

This one ventures into more expensive territory, but the investment will be worth it if you're looking for enhanced performance and graphical capabilities. This one is a little bit chunkier than the others, so throwing it in a backpack may be more of a challenge (still doable, though).

MSI GS75 Stealth-413 (Intel Core i7-9750H) — save $380.99

Finally, a mix of power and sleekness. The gold detailing and colorful keyboard may be a bit much for some, but it doesn't negate the fact that is laptop will perform really well.
