TL;DR: As of July 27, purchase two months of Amazon Music and get an Echo Dot for $0.99 or an Echo Dot with clock for $9.99, saving you $49 or $50 respectively.

Spotify and Apple Music might dominate the music streaming industry, but Amazon Music is a solid competitor, especially if you regularly use Amazon smart home devices. And if you don't already use Amazon smart devices, now's a good time to start.

As of July 27, when you buy two months of Amazon Music you'll get either an Echo Dot for $0.99 or and Echo Dot with clock for $9.99, saving you $49 and $50 respectively.

With Amazon Music you gain unlimited access to 60 million songs ad-free. It's a super convenient service to use if your Echo acts as your go-to speaker. Just ask Alexa to play a song, artist, album, or playlist and Amazon Music will automatically start. You won't have to specify the streaming service like you do with Spotify or Apple Music.

The Echo Dot does more than just play music — use it to control smart home gadgets via your voice, call people hands-free, check the weather, read the news, and so much more. The only difference between the Echo Dot and the Echo Dot with clock is... you guessed it: One has an LED clock face that displays the time, outdoor temperature, and timers.

Grab an Echo Dot with two months of Amazon Music for $16.97 or an Echo Dot with clock and Amazon Music for $25.97. Note that your Amazon Music subscription will auto-renew at $7.99 per month ($9.99 per month for non-Prime members), but you can cancel or change it at any time.
