Playstation Plus and Now subscriptions are on sale for 30% off at Best Buy
Amid multiple retailers' sales on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate codes, Best Buy is coming through with a little treat for Playstation gamers, too.
As of June 8, the electronics retailer has slashed the prices of annual Playstation Plus and Now subscriptions by an impressive 30%: Normally $59.99 apiece, you can score a 12-month membership to either service for only $41.99 right now — an $18 savings.

For the uninitiated, Playstation Plus (or "PS Plus") is a service that "enhances your existing free account for PlayStation Network and helps you to get the most out of your PS4," says Sony. Members can download free PS4 games every month, enjoy exclusive discounts in the Playstation Store, receive an extra 100GB of cloud storage for their game saves, and get access to online multiplayer gaming. (A PS Plus plan is actually required if you want to do anything multiplayer-related on a Playstation system, so if you're hoping to hop on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Minecraft, or GTA V with your friends as you continue to social distance this summer, make sure you snag a subscription STAT.)
A Playstation Now subscription, meanwhile, gets you access to a gigantic, ever-changing collection of PS2, PS3, and PS4 games that you can choose to either stream or download on your PS4 or PC. There were over 700 titles in the PS Now library the last time we checked, including Metro Exodus, Dishonored 2, Marvel's Spider-Man, and even Control, Mashable's Game of the Year pick for 2019. (Don't want to commit to a whole year of PS Now? Three-month plans are also available at Best Buy — get one here for just $19.99.)
Whether you sign up for one of those annual plans or both, you'll pay just $41.99 apiece when you buy them through Best Buy. Happy gaming.
