TL;DR: As of March 19, you can slash 16% off the price of the HUDWAY Glass Heads-Up Navigation Display and get it for $49.95 instead of $59.

The current skyrocketing prices might make a new car purchase out of the question, but you can still make futuristic upgrades to your decade-old vehicle. It’s actually easier — and cheaper — than you think. For example, the Grand Cherokee, Nissan Rogue, and many other vehicles have added fancy head-up displays on their dashboards this past year or so. You can enjoy that same technology without taking out a loan on a new car, thanks to the Hudway Glass.

As seen at CES (a.k.a. Consumer Electronics Show, a.k.a. a big deal) a few years back, the Kickstarter-funded Hudway Glass is a futuristic, app-driven, heads-up navigation display that is designed to help you navigate the roads a little more safely. It’s been awhile since we featured this nifty navigation system, but for a limited time, you can get it on sale for $49.95, down 16% from its usual cost.

The Hudway Glass sits on your dash and superimposes your driving directions on your actual outward view of the road, so you can easily navigate without taking your eyes off them. The glass produces a 20 percent larger display than your phone, built to make it easier to see where you’re going at a glance and to show extra information like your speed, fuel compensation, or weather forecast.

See it in action:

No matter what kind of car you have and which phone company you’ve pledged your loyalty to, the Hudway seamlessly fits into your current setup. It’s universally compatible with all phones and even includes several free promo codes to let you try out a variety of HUD apps and see which one you like best. Plus, it comes with two different dashboard mounts to ensure a fit that’s right for your vehicle.

Usually $59, you can slash the price of the Hudway Glass down to just $49.95 and bring your car into the future for a steal.

Prices subject to change.
