TL;DR: As of March 22, you can knock $10 off the regular price of the OLA Smart WiFi Security Camera and get it for $189.99 instead of $200.

Since you can’t get a moat of snakes and alligators or hire your own private security detail to monitor your home 24/7, a security camera is your next-best option. But not all security cameras are created equal — and they’ve come a long way in the past decade or so.

Recently funded and brought to life with the help of backers on Indiegogo and Kickstarter, the Ola Smart WiFi Security Camera is a unique option for those looking to monitor their home. And although it’s new to the scene, it’s already on sale for $189.99.

The Ola features many functions we’ve come to expect out of a security camera, like two-way talk, facial recognition, app connectivity, and motion alerts. But its stand-out features are what helped it reach its funding goal so quickly. These include native voice search, fall alerts, package detection and tamper alerts, cry alerts, glass break alerts, and other unusual activity alerts.

The Ola packages its technology with intelligence, putting it a step above the average security camera. Its body movement analysis, 3D location analysis, and human recognition features work together to distinguish the difference between someone lying on the couch and someone falling down, or you walking through the kitchen versus your dog playing fetch. Movement alerts only go so far; Ola’s smart system is designed to cut back on false alerts by analyzing those movements.

It dubs itself the “security app with a brain,” thanks to its range of alerts. See how it works in the video below:

You’ll get the compatible app for free, but you can only access all of the advanced features the Ola has to offer with a monthly subscription ($7.99).

Regularly retailing for $200, you can snag the Ola Smart WiFi Security Camera on sale for $189.99 for a limited time.

Prices subject to change.
