For most products, we would say Black Friday is when you'll get the best deal. But for mattresses, Memorial Day is where it's at. The sales that happen over the three-day weekend are almost always worth checking out — even if you don't necessarily need a new mattress.
We know, Memorial Day isn't until May 31, but that hasn't stopped retailers from starting their mattress deals early. As of May 13, here are the best mattress sales to shop ahead of Memorial Day:
Tempur-Pedic — save up to $1,020
Tempur-Pedic has a few different deals included in its Memorial Day sale — and some of them actually end May 17. The signature Tempur-Cloud mattress is 30% off every size, with sale prices starting at $1,189. Adjustable mattress sets are up to $500 off. Plus, save on pillows, mattress toppers, and bedding sets.
Nectar — $399 of accessories included with mattresses
Nectar's sale technically ends May 16, but we'll surely see another one crop up again before and around Memorial Day. For now, when you buy a Nectar mattress, you get $399 worth of accessories included for free. You'll get a mattress protector, sheets set, and cooling pillows.
Emma Sleep — save up to 45%
Again, this is technically not a Memorial Day sale — Emma has extended its Mother's Day sale, which scores you 45% off all mattress sizes. The Emma mattress is great for hot sleepers as it features cooling technology that allows air to flow through and prevents moisture and heat from getting trapped. Sale prices start at $439.45.
Tuft & Needle — save up to 20%
Tuft & Needle is celebrating Memorial Day early with a sitewide sale. Everything from mattresses to bed frames to sheets is up to 20% off. T&N has a range of mattress options depending on your sleep preferences — whether you need extra support, want an antimicrobial material, or want your bed to stay cool throughout the night.
Casper — save up to 15%
At Casper, mattresses are 15% off while everything else is 10% off. Casper is the OG boxed mattress, and it's maintained its ranking among the best mattresses on the market. Plus, if you don't mind an older mattress model, some of Casper's final sale items (like the 2019 Wave Hybrid mattress) are actually up to 50% off.
