If you're a fan of books and somehow haven't read any of Neil Gaiman's work, chances are they've at least been recommended to you at some point. His repertoire of haunting fantasies, chilling dramas, and whimsical characters are never anything short of remarkable. Wouldn't it be great if the author himself could read to you, British accent and all?

Of course it would. Audible, which is currently offering a 30-day free trial and two free audiobooks, can help you get there. Here are some Neil Gaiman audiobooks on Audible read by the author himself.

Coraline

A Gaiman classic that spawned the 2009 stop-animation movie, Coraline tells the story of a little girl with somewhat-neglectful parents who all move into a dreary new flat with odd tenants. Here, Coraline discovers a parallel world where the house is nicer, the food is better, and her alternate parents are more fun to play with. But this parallel family will do whatever it takes to keep her there forever, whether she wants to or not.

M is for Magic

Why settle for Neil Gaiman reading one big story when he can read you a whole bunch of small ones? M is for Magic is a fantastical collection of short stories that display Gaiman's prowess as a storyteller. From a fairy tale murder mystery to a cat's gritty determination to a group of exotic food enthusiasts who bite off more than they can chew, each story titillates, disturbs, and stays with readers in a manner that only Neil Gaiman can orchestrate.

Norse Mythology

You might be surprised to know that Norse mythology runs far deeper than what Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston portray in the movies. There's an adventure in which Thor must retrieve a gigantic cauldron in order to party with giants. How about the one where Thor must dress up as a bride to retrieve his stolen hammer? Classic Norse stories are given an entirely new voice when Gaiman is at the helm.

He embarks on a quest to return home to London, but will have to overcome many dangers along the way.
