Lately, it seems like the versatile, grip-anything capabilities of octopus tentacles are popping up all over the tech world, from this robotic gripper to surgical tools modeled after cephalopods.

Tenikle is a useful — albeit slightly humorous — take on tech accessories, an adaptable phone mount in the shape of a squid or octopus arm, complete with gripping suction cups. And it’s pretty genius.

No shape is too wacky for the flexible material. It can be bent, wrapped, or finessed into whatever position you need to support your phone, camera, or GPS.

We’re not kidding when we say there’s nothing Tenikle can’t be used for. A tripod? Tenikle has an insert for your camera to sit on while it stands on all three of its pliable tentacles. A GPS mount? Tenikle’s suction cups stick right to the windshield. A stand to support your phone while you're cooking? Tenikle can bend around any random object you may be near. Attach your device to the free tentacle and voila.

Don’t worry about the size of your devices the suction cups on this puppy can hold up to 81 pounds each. It’s legitimately stronger than me.

No, you don’t have to worry about it sticking out of your bag and looking like you stole a squid from the aquarium Tenikle folds up into a little ball, making transporting it about one million times more convenient than lugging around a tripod, selfie stick, or whatever other accessories you may need during the day.
