Where to buy the new Pokémon-themed Nintendo Switch Lite
New Nintendo Switch Lite just dropped.
Featuring a metallic gray body with black buttons and some silver and gold line art, the Dialga & Palkia Edition of the beloved handheld console is now available for purchase at select retailers for $199.99. (It was in stock at Best Buy, Target, and GameStop the last time we checked; Amazon and Walmart were both selling it as part of a memory card bundle, but they jacked its price way up to $350 and $389, respectively.)
The system pays tribute to (you guessed it) Dialga and Palkia, two Legendary Pokémon from Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl — a pair of 2006 Nintendo DS games that are getting Switch remakes later this month. While it looks quite a bit flashier than the standard Switch Lites, it's exactly the same on the inside, with 32GB of storage space and support for all the physical and digital Switch games that work in handheld mode. (Speaking of: New Animal Crossing: New Horizons update, anyone?)
Last Black Friday brought us a bunch of limited-edition Switches and bundles, so fingers crossed that this is the first release of many as we head into the thick of the holiday shopping season.
