The Xbox Series X is getting a special launch day restock at Walmart
UPDATE: Nov. 10, 2020, 1:15 p.m. EST The Xbox Series X and Series S are now out of stock at Walmart, but don't worry, we expect another restock soon, so keep checking back — we've also added links to Xbox Series X and Series S pages at other retailers to the end of this article.
TL;DR: The Xbox Series X is getting a launch day restock at Walmart — starting at 12 p.m. EST, you can order the next-gen console (online only) for $499.
Today is the day that the next generation of gaming officially begins, starting with the launch of the Xbox Series X (the PlayStation 5 launches this Thursday, Nov. 12). Leading up to this week, securing a preorder for either of the new next-gen consoles has been nearly impossible, with stock and subsequent restocks running out in minutes after website crashes, nonsensical wait times, and bots. Lots of bots.
Here comes another chance for you to get one (the Series X, at least). Walmart is releasing a special launch day restock of the Xbox Series X in a limited quantity starting today (Nov. 10) at 12 p.m. EST. So, get that product page bookmarked and ready to go — you're going to need fast hands to get one. (Note: We aren't aware of an Xbox Series S restock happening today, but we'll be sure to update you when we get that information.) (UPDATE: Nov. 10, 2020, 10:46 a.m. EST The Xbox Series S will also be getting a restock at Walmart starting at 12 p.m. EST.)
The Xbox Series X is Xbox's most powerful next-gen console — boasting native 4K graphics, lightning-fast load times, and a stellar game library — and retails at $499, while the smaller and slightly less powerful (but much more budget-friendly) Xbox Series S retails at $299.
Both consoles can be paired with Xbox All Access, which gets you your console and a subscription to Xbox Game Pass spread out across 24 monthly payments ($24.99 per month for Xbox Series S, $34.99 per month for Xbox Series X).
Good luck on scoring your Series X — we're rooting for you.
