Mercifully, Amazon is giving early-bird shoppers an opportunity to beat the inevitable Black Friday rush on the Ring Video Doorbell 2 and the Echo Show 5 — two of the year's hottest smart home gadgets — by bundling them together for only $149. That's almost half the cost of buying them separately, and a total savings of $140.

For its part, the Echo Show 5 is a compact, Alexa-enabled smart display that lets you manage your entire fleet of smart home devices using simple voice commands. Amazon's Ring Video Doorbell 2/Echo Show 5 bundle is still live at $149 as of Friday morning, but since there's no telling how long it'll be available at that price, you'd be smart to snap it up while you still can.
