Save $60: As of Oct. 18, the ninth generation iPad is once again only $269 at Amazon, saving you $60 (or 18%) on the best Apple tablet for most people. At full price, the iPad costs $329.

We're now a full week past Prime Day 2, but Amazon hasn't quite finished with the deals yet.

Case in point: the 10.2-inch iPad, Apple's ninth generation tablet, has dropped back down to it's Prime Day pricing of just $269. That's the absolute lowest price we've ever seen on the iPad by a good $10, and it beats what Walmart, Target, and Best Buy have this tablet at, all by at least $30.

The price drop could just be Amazon keeping the Prime Day excitement alive. Or it could be the fact that Apple is expected to announce new M2 iPad Pros and possibly a tenth generation iPad any day now.

Does that mean you should wait to spring for the latest and greatest? Not necessarily. The ninth gen iPad's A13 Bionic chip and 10.2-inch Retina display can easily get you through most everyday tasks, from streaming to note taking to creating digital art. Besides being our favorite tablet for most people, the iPad's price is pretty much unbeatable at $269 — it was only earlier this year we saw it's price drop to $299 from $329, and again, only last week we saw it hit $269.

If you're not looking for a tablet to replace a laptop or for high-intensity editing work, the 2021 iPad is more than enough. Get it on sale in either silver or space gray.
