'Luigi's Mansion 3' has tiptoed to less than $50 on Amazon

SAVE $10.05: Luigi's Mansion 3 for the Switch is just $49.94 when added to your Amazon cart.

It's that time of year again: Scary movies, scary 12-foot skeleton decorations, scary presidential debates...

Why stop at TV for your festive entertainment? The ghost-busting adventure that is Luigi's Mansion 3 is the perfect October game, and it's discounted at Amazon for the first time since February (according to price tracker CamelCamelCamel). Upon adding the game to your cart, a price of $49.94 should pop up. That's $10.05 less than its usual price of $59.99 and matches its lowest price ever on Amazon.

The game's sheer hyper-interactivity alone is enough to have you itching to play the second you wake up. Almost anything — rugs, curtains, other items that you'd expect to find in a haunted 17-level hotel — can be picked up (and maybe even be used to solve the current mystery). As Mashable's Alison Foreman puts it, "None of it is set dressing."

If an object's use isn't obvious at first, Luigi's handy magic flashlight might have some secrets up its sleeve. Luigi is, of course, armed with the trusty Poltergust (now the G-00), which offers Slam, Suction Shot, and Burst to take on the themed floors (and themed bosses) of each level of the Last Resort. This level of obsession in design is what makes Nintendo games so easy to obsess over.
