Usually $329, you can pick up a pair in white or blue during the annual savings event for just $199. That's 40% in savings, which knocks them down to their lowest price to date. Previously, the cozy headphones have only dropped to $229, but Amazon is not messing around this Prime Day. You can also find them for the same low price at the Bose website and in the same color options at Best Buy (white smoke and midnight blue). Walmart and Target have yet to price-match.
We love the Bose QuietComfort 45s for many reasons, but their comfort is definitely a major standout. "During our testing, we wore the QC 45s for eight-plus hours, some days with glasses, and never once did we experience unpleasant squeezing or feel the weight of these headphones," Mashable shopping reporter Bethany Allard noted in her review.
The audio quality, adjustable EQ feature, and ability to measure and react to outside noise definitely help to earn these bad boys a number one slot in our book for flight headphones. They block out higher-frequency sounds — like crying babies and drunk strangers — but can quickly switch over to aware mode when the flight attendant comes to grab your drink order.
While battery life isn't the best we've seen, it's still pretty impressive at 24 hours. Plus, you can plug them back in for 15 minutes to get another 3 hours of power on the move.
