Save 30%: The Apple MagSafe charger is on sale for $27.14, down from $39.00, at both Amazon and Walmart as of Sept. 16 — that's a savings of 30%.

If you've owned an iPhone, there is at least a 99% chance you've watched the slow but steady decline of a Lightning cable. You know what I'm talking about — it's the fraying that happens right where you plug your phone into the charger. Fortunately, this is a fate a wireless charger can save you from.

As of Sept. 16, the Apple MagSafe charger is on sale for only $27.14 — its lowest price ever — at Amazon and Walmart. This Qi-compatible charger works with the iPhone 8 and up (including the new iPhone 13), as well as the AirPods Pro, and both generations of the AirPods with wireless charging cases.

Magnetic wireless charging may seem like magic (that's a fun play on words, right?) and there is something nice about being able to scroll to your heart's content while a magnet attached to the back of your phone does all the hard work. However, this charger works fastest when the magnets are perfectly aligned, and according to Apple, that "experience only applies to iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models." Translation: older models might take the more scenic route to a full charge.

Even if you don't own an iPhone 12, being able to keep your Lightning port open while charging for whatever reason (RIP headphone jack you will forever be missed), might make the charge time okay by you. In any case, this deal will only last for a limited time, so if you're in the market, grab your discounted MagSafe charger from Amazon and Walmart while you can.
