Apple Music fans: Are you good?
The age-old debate of Apple Music vs. Spotify gets pretty heated, but if you're not totally sold on your current streaming service, now is a good time to try Spotify Premium. From now through Sept. 30, new Premium users can get three months of ad-free, offline listening for free.
The trial lasts until Dec. 24, so you'll have plenty of time to suss out whether Spotify is truly the elite spot for music. This deal only applies to users who haven't tried Premium before, but no worries if you already have a free Spotify account. As long as you haven't upgraded in the past, you're still eligible for the free three months.
One thing to note: Your account will automatically be charged $9.99 per month after the trial, so on the off-chance that you decide to cancel, do it before the three months are up.
With Spotify Premium, you'll ditch ads for good, enjoy offline listening, be able to download songs, and get unlimited skips. You'll also get access to the iconic Discover Weekly playlist for finding new artists and songs, as well as customized "Daily Mix" playlists made up of your favorite tunes. Spotify truly customizes your music experience to your tastes — something that Apple Music is still catching up to.
Spotify boasts millions of tracks and podcasts, and it gets some solid Spotify-exclusive songs and podcasts that you won't be able to find anywhere else. You'll be able to create radio stations, get recommendations for new music you might like, and of course, get a more complete year-end review of your music when 2021 is up. If you want all this and more, be sure sign up for three free months of Spotify Premium before this deal is up on Sept. 30.
