Amazon's new Fire Stick 4K Max is available for preorder
TL;DR: As of Sept. 29, the better, faster Fire Stick 4K Max is available to pre-order for $54.99 at Amazon. Its release date is Oct. 7.
It's all about streaming services these days. Seriously, who even has cable anymore? (No offense to those who haven't cut the cord yet. You are valid.) If you're like us and your main TV habits involve the growing library of Netflix and Hulu clones, you're going to need a great device to serve as a home for all of your entertainment.
Unless your TV has streaming apps built in, consider the new Amazon Fire Stick 4K Max. The device is available to pre-order at Amazon for $54.99, and it will officially be released on Oct. 7.
The Fire Stick 4K Max does all the great things that the regular Fire Stick 4K does, but better. Amazon claims that it's 40% more powerful than the last iteration, and features faster app navigation, as well as a smoother 4K streaming experience. The 4K Max also supports next-gen WiFi 6 for those who have it and comes with an Alexa voice assistant.
You'll even get support for Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos audio, HDR, and HDR10+. Simply plug the Fire Stick into one of your TV's HDMI ports.
Start catching up on your watchlist. Pre-order the new Fire Stick 4K Max at Amazon for $54.99.
