When you think of Ludacris, the first thing that comes to your mind probably isn’t card games, but that may change after this Kickstarter campaign. Thanks to Luda, this project wants to put the “party” back in party games.

Slang N’ Friendz appears to be a combination of Cards Against Humanity and charades, with drinking games, limbo, and more thrown into the adult expansion. The game begins the way most party card games do — a judge, in this game they’re called the “slang master,” picks a card with a slang word on it. Slang N’ Friendz then introduces a new mechanic — a die roll. The die determines what activity the slang master will be judging. Usually that will be to define or act out the word on the card. However, if the die lands on “Turn Up,” the slang master draws a special Turn Up card. These cards have special activities that will be judged instead, like coming up with the best Yo’ Momma joke or cheesy pickup line.

There’s also a 21+ expansion pack, called the Ludacris Adult Deck. This deck has more NSFW slang words and adult challenges (this is where the drinking games come in.) The expansion deck in particular is more of a party starter than a traditional game, but both versions seem like a fun alternative to endless rounds of Cards Against Humanity.

Slang N’ Friendz is currently raising money on Kickstarter. As a cool bonus for funding the campaign, backers will get to submit and vote for cards that will be included in a special Backer’s Deck, only available to the people who donated to the Kickstarter.
