The Google Daydream View is here to change the way you consume entertainment. Google released the VR headset back in November 2017, but now you can get your very own for the ridiculously low price of $39.99, or 60% off its $99.99 retail price.

Note: this went on sale back in April for $50 and the Prime Day price is even cheaper.

The Daydream View allows you to watch videos in full 360-degree panoramic views, play multiplayer games, watch Netflix and YouTube, and learn and discover new worlds — all from the comfort of your home. The headset uses 9-axis IMU sensors for tracking your motions, while Bluetooth low energy will make your experience even longer with its extended battery life. It's also Chromecast ready, so your friends and family can experience the action with you on a paired big screen TV.

Check it out:

Set up is simple: Just slide a Daydream-ready Android device, such as Google Pixel and Pixel 2, Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+, and LG V30, into the VR headset and then strap it to your head to start the action.

Use the controller to help you guide through dream worlds like a magic wand in your hand. The Daydream View is made with breathable fabric and face pads to give you a comfortable and cozy, yet immersive, VR experience.

The Google Daydream View is a good way to get VR without committing to a high price tag. Verizon has the headset on sale for only $39.99, which is a total steal.
