Switch 2 Nintendo Direct today: See the latest updates from the April 2 event

Some of us have been waiting years for this. Others may have just found out about it today. Either way, we're all going to know a lot about the Nintendo Switch 2 by lunchtime on Wednesday.

After years of leaks and rumors, Nintendo is holding a Nintendo Direct livestream at 9 a.m. ET on Wednesday, April 2 to blow the doors off of Switch 2, which was initially teased in January. Nintendo has revealed few details about this livestream so far: it will focus entirely on Switch 2, and it's about 60 minutes long. We expect this Direct to focus on a handful of different things. For starters, Nintendo will almost assuredly reveal the console's price and release date. Beyond that, expect a battery of trailers for new games, alongside some unique new features for the console hardware itself. Buckle up, folks.
