If you're disappointed with your current broadband connection speed, or you think you can get a better deal elsewhere, we've got you covered.

Selecting BT as your broadband provider comes with plenty of benefits. For starters, the choice when it comes to packages is great, with deals ranging from cheap options for students to packages including BT Sport and BT Ultrafast.

If you're speed-hungry and looking for some consistency with your WiFi connection, then you should consider the BT Ultrafast service. Ultrafast speeds can reach up to 300Mbps, with a promise from BT that they will never drop below 100Mbps. BT posts a similar promise on most of its broadband packages, so if you aren't getting the speeds you're expecting, you get £20 back.

These are the best BT broadband deals on the market in 2022.

If you're interested in Sky broadband deals, or all the best broadband deals from the wide range of UK providers, we've got you covered.

The Good & The Bad

  • Variety of packages
  • Reasonable price
  • Watch 52 Premier League games
  • No Sky Sports deals

Why We Like It

BT loves to bundle its TV deals into a number of its broadband packages.

This includes BT Sport, and if you're looking to watch the Premier League and Champions League this season, these deals will suit you perfectly.

If you don't currently get your TV package from Sky or Virgin Media, BT can offer a full package with a Freeview box, alongside its Superfast Fibre (34 Mbps) broadband and BT Sport, all for just £42.99 a month.

By combining TV, broadband, and BT Sport together, you can keep it simple with a singular provider, and save plenty of cash along the way.

Or, if you already have a TV box with Sky, you can still get a broadband bundle to work with your current set-up.

Although there is an agreement in the works, you can't currently get a package that includes Sky Sports alongside BT Sport.

These bundles also include six months of Amazon Prime Video at the moment.

The Good & The Bad

  • Ultrafast speeds
  • 100Mbps promise
  • Expensive

Why We Like It

Ultrafast broadband is becoming a more and more popular prospect for budding households with lots of electronic devices.

With Virgin offering speeds from 50 - 350 Mbps, BT looks to challenge these speeds with its own ultrafast packages.

The main draw to these ultrafast deals is BT's promise that your WiFi will never fall under 100Mbps, otherwise, they will pay you £20 for the trouble.

This is a big commitment and should give customers a lot of confidence in the service.

If you are considering getting BT Ultrafast, make sure your home is covered by the service first by using BT's coverage checker

The only caveat is that BT's ultrafast service is more expensive than Virgin Media, and the new ultrafast service being introduced by Sky.

The Good & The Bad

  • Variety of speeds
  • Reliable service
  • Not always the best value

Why We Like It

There are always great deals on the standard BT Broadband packages, and these often include cheap setup fees or a decent BT Reward Card offer.

BT's base fibre broadband packages go up to the Superfast 2 option, that includes speeds of up to 67Mbps. This package also includes a £120 BT Reward Card at the moment, making this an even better deal.

All of these packages should be sufficient for a normal household, as Netflix only recommends around 25Mbps to stream in high-quality. But, if you've got plenty of devices going at once, you may be better off opting for the biggest package, or considering an ultrafast option in the future.

The Good & The Bad

  • Student exclusive
  • Reliable service
  • Free soundbar
  • Still not the cheapest around

Why We Like It

Moving into a student house? BT have specific student deals to help you through your studying years. Each package is cheaper than the normal deals and comes with a free JBL Studio Soundbar.

To qualify for these deals, you just need to use your student email when signing up, it's as simple as that.

There's the option for shorter contract lengths as well, so you can choose from 9 - 12 months depending on how long you need the service for.

The 12-month contracts are the cheapest, however, so we recommend opting for these, as you don't get the free JBL soundbar with the 9-month deals.
