Despite any good that came of 2016, the year will go down as one of the worst in recent memory. But how bad was it really?

From Brexit, to Donald Trump's filthy mouth, exploding phones and Harambe's tragic death, the year was filled with upsetting moments. And if you take a step back and look at the year as a whole, 2016 can seem like a straight up horror movie.

If you need to be convinced a little more, the folks over at Friend Dog Studios recut the year's events into a horror movie trailer worthy of a full release. There's still a few days left, stay safe out there on the internet.
