Bigger usually means better, right? Not in the world of whips.

Recently, YouTuber Bryan Ropar decided to test out an 80-foot homemade bull whip. Unfortunately for Roper, 80-feet proved to be a good 20 feet too long. Every time he attempted to crack the whip, the loop was so large that it was able to reach him at the other end.

Roper basically created a self torture device. But at least he admitted his failure.

"Well, that is by far one of the stupidest things I've ever done in my life," said Ropar.

Regardless, one dude managed to crack a whip that was well over 200 feet long, so maybe there's just a sweet spot around 80 feet where whips bite back.
