The charm and humor of the late Adam West will be missed by many fans, but just a few weeks ago he gave the public one of its last opportunities to share his warmth, this time in relation to something that didn't even exist during his heyday: a mobile app.

On May 2, in one of his final interviews, West talked about how he came to join the Family Guy cast and his relationship with Seth MacFarlane. Aside from sharing a similar passion for music and singing, we find out that the two also had a similarly odd tastes in comedy, part of what has made "Mayor West" a hit on the show.

As for the app, it's called Family Guy: Another Freakin' Mobile Game (available for iOS and Android) and was developed by Los Angeles based game studio Jam City. In it, users enjoy the same ironic humor and characters from the show (drunk Quagmire, what else do you need to know?!) while tapping their way toward in-game achievements. No, the app isn't focused on Mayor West, but it's nevertheless a great reminder that West transcended his era and his influence will live on far beyond his passing.
