While the first trailer for Ahsoka teased a fan favorite villain, Lucasfilm's latest trailer for its Star Wars spinoff relishes in a great galactic adventure to come.

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows its eponymous Jedi Knight (played by Rosario Dawson) as she tries to save the galaxy from an imminent threat. Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen), a fan of the dark side and the rebellion's greatest enemy, is planning to return  as heir to the Empire. It's up to Ahsoka, plus her former apprentice Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), to try to save the day.

Will Anakin Skywalker's favorite student succeed in her quest?

How to watch: The first two episodes of Ahsoka release on Disney+ August 23
