It's hard to believe he's not a regular cast member this season, but Alec Baldwin is still stoked to host Saturday Night Live.
The comedian has been at the center of a political comedy tornado since he first pursed his lips into a Donald Trump impression back in 2016. In another world, he would've said goodbye to the show after Nov. 8 -- but since then there's no imagining the show without him or the political conversation without his amplified voice.
Baldwin knows his unique position and hasn't bothered to distance himself from the ire of the Trump administration. On Feb. 8 he swapped Trump impressions with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, adding a quip that his suit was from "the Ivanka Trump men’s collection at Nordstrom’s,” Baldwin quipped. “Big sale right now, 95 percent off of everything.”
Baldwin's episode of SNL will air Feb. 11.
