After more than 12 years of Reddit, co-founder Alexis Ohanian can still name his favorite post.

The post, he said on Tuesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live, was actually a comment on an r/AskReddit question: "Have you ever picked up a hitchhiker?" It focuses on a dude stranded on the side of the road who, after being ignored by legions of drivers, is eventually rescued by a generous family of immigrants. Spoiler: it's gonna make you weep.

It's clear why the anecdote has stuck with Ohanian. While Reddit can be a truly terrifying landscape, this story is guaranteed to restore your faith in humanity ... at least a little.

Oh, and Ohanian also endorses r/ChildrenFallingOver.
