Former Community co-stars Alison Brie and Danny Pudi have appeared in a clip from an upcoming episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series, belting out Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" and promoting their new romantic comedy of a similar name.

The duo may not portray love interests in Somebody I Used to Know, which was written by Brie and her husband Dave Franco, but the longtime friends are very clearly comfortable with each other.

"You're naked in a lot of the movie," said Pudi. "So you wrote that?"

"I insisted on it," joked Brie. "Look, Danny, you know I like to be naked. I'm a comfortable naked person. I like to make my friends laugh and hang from trees naked with tennis shoes on. And that's kind of why we worked that into Ally's story line."

Pudi also noted that he "vividly" remembered seeing Brie do cartwheels in her altogether.

"Being in this industry, there are days that surprise you," said Pudi. "That was a surprising day."

Carpool Karaoke: The Series is available on Apple TV+.
