I'm telling you right now that Kevin Spacey is in this trailer, but I don't blame you if you don't believe me. Even once you know which character he's playing, he's practically unrecognizable in the role.

All the Money in the World is the second film this year by director Ridley Scott (after Alien: Covenant), and stars Spacey as J. Paul Getty – as in that Getty, the multi-gazillionaire of Getty Museum and Getty Oil fame.

In 1973, Getty's teenage grandson, John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) is kidnapped and held for ransom. But when the boy's mother (Michelle Williams) pleads with her father-in-law to pay, he refuses, even as the captors get more and more brutal.

Mark Wahlberg also appears, as an associate of the elder Getty's who is brought in to help out. We don't want to spoil anything, but if you just can't wait to find out what happens, the real John Paul Getty III's Wikipedia page is sitting right here.

All the Money in the World hits theaters in December.
