Bryan Cranston's fantastic portrayal of President Lyndon B. Johnson has already won him a Tony -- and in May, he's bringing All the Way to TV and HBO.

The film's first teaser trailer gives you an idea of what to expect: This adaptation of Robert Schenkkan's play tells the story of Johnson's rocky first year as president, following the assassination of John F. Kennedy. That's also when Johnson was fighting to pass his history-making Civil Rights Act.

Anthony Mackie plays Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in the movie, directed by Jay Roach.

Melissa Leo, Bradley Whitford and Stephen Root also star.

All the Way premieres Saturday, May 21 at 8 p.m. ET on HBO.
