The official trailer for The Artful Dodger has arrived, giving us a look at the new live-action Charles Dickens fanfiction.

Set several years after the events of Oliver Twist, the eight-episode series follows the titular Artful Dodger aka Jack Dawkins (Thomas Brodie-Sangster), who was arrested for thievery and transported to Australia as a child. Now an adult, the Dodger is a respectable surgeon with a flirtatious relationship with aspiring doctor Lady Belle Fox (Maia Mitchell).

Unfortunately, his history of pickpocketing soon comes back to haunt him with the arrival of his former mentor and abuser Fagin (David Thewlis), dragging the Dodger reluctantly back to the wrong side of the law.

The Artful Dodger premieres Nov. 29 on Hulu.
