Pro tip: do not subject your coworkers to your ill-fated cooking attempts.

In honor of the holidays, Leslie Horton of Global News Calgary made a thick artichoke dip to taste test on air. Unfortunately, she appears to have used pickled artichoke hearts instead of regular artichokes -- a big, vinegary error.

The result is a dip that ... burns. Horton's coworkers, understandably, could not keep it together.

Please remember to follow the recipe, everyone.
