This is the moment fans of the Assassin's Creed game franchise have been waiting for: The first trailer for the upcoming Assassin's Creed movie, starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard, is out.
In the trailer we learn a few bits and pieces on how it's possible for a dead Fassbender to go back in the past and do the becloaked acrobatics that you know and love from the AC games. After that, it's all roof-jumping and swordplay in a beautiful setting of medieval Spain, to the tune of Kanye West's "I Am a God".
And it looks fantastic.
The movie is scheduled to hit theaters Dec. 21, so be prepared for a few more trailers between now and then.
