Content creators The Juice Media have responded by creating a parody ad called We Tortured Some Kids -- a satirical, albeit very bleak explainer of current events.
The media company have also made satirical videos on Australia's alleged ineptitude in tackling climate change and our slippery, often inarticulate, politicians.
Unnerving, eerie and many would say, much needed.
