One of the worst ways to wake up? By bear.
A curious bear cub near the shore in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia, approached two men sleeping in some grass on Friday. After sniffing one of them, the bear attempts to get a little closer and steps on the man's leg in the process, finally awakening him from his slumber.
The man rightfully screams, gets up, and attempts to wake up his very sleepy friend. Thankfully, the cub is equally freaked out, and runs away without incident.
The whole thing was captured by at least two people who spoke to each other as the bear approached, doing nothing to warn the men of the approaching bear. What gives?
Brown bears in the Kamchatka Peninsula have killed people in the past, though thankfully this was just a cub, and Mom did not appear to be close by.
