There's a wise old proverb that a Beyoncé Knowles once uttered: "If you liked it then you should have put a ring on it."

At a concert in St. Louis, Missouri, on Sept. 10, Queen Bey helped a dancer and her partner bring those lines to life in an epic mid-performance wedding proposal.

After getting in formation for the first part of the hit "Single Ladies," Beyoncé stopped music and invited John Silver, boyfriend to her dance captain Ashley Everett on stage. One stirring speech and a "yes" later, Everett found herself engaged.

"Let's see you do your choreography after that," Bey exclaimed, before the crew jumped right back into dancing.
