It's happening. Bill Nye (THE SCIENCE GUY) is back. And he's here to save the world (not literally, unfortunately).

Bill Nye Saves the World comes to Netflix on April 21, 2017. That's the day before Earth Day, folks. Maybe Bill will save us all.

The series, which Nye will host alongside a gang of correspondents -- including Karlie Kloss, Derek Muller, Nazeem Hussain, and Emily Calandrelli -- will cover a range of topics, from climate change to video games. There are also a bunch of celebrity guests lined up, as you can see in the trailer.

"What we found was people really want to be involved," Nye said of his guest cast during a Feb. 8 Netflix press day.

"Celebrities really want to get on the show. People want to do something that they are making a statement, making a difference, are participating in science."

Nye is also excited to bring his particular brand of scientific experimentation -- which aims to keep things fun -- to a streaming service like Netflix.

"It's very intuitive," he said of Netflix culture. "We used to have the phrase appointment television, and now you don't have to make the appointment."
