Egads! 'Binging With Babish' finally recreated 'The Simpsons' steamed hams

Steamed hams may be the greatest and most enduring Simpsons meme there is, so it's no wonder beloved pop culture cooking YouTuber Andrew Rea of Binging With Babish has been fielding requests to recreate Principal Skinner's, ahem, "homemade" burgers for years. Finally, he caved — and teamed up with the host of First We Feast's The Burger Show, Alvin Cailan, for the attempt.

From the starting point of the classic Krusty Burger's standard appearance on The Simpsons and a Connecticut (no, not Albany) speciality, the steamed cheeseburger, Rea steams himself up a ham or two. (This is despite the fact that the patties in the scene are "obviously grilled.") Let's just say it's not exactly an unforgettable luncheon.

However, Cailan has his own spin on the technique, and I know which one I'd be serving to the stuffy school superintendent should I happen to ruin my roast.
