The final trailer for Black Mirror Season 4 is almost hopeful.

Cutting together footage from six new episodes – "Black Museum," "Arkangel," "Hang the D.J.," "Crocodile," "U.S.S. Callister," and "Metalhead" – the trailer gets somehow creepier when set to Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World."

"In every world we’ve set up…you have to understand the appeal and understand why you’d use that technology and then we begin to sort of explore what could go wrong," show creator Annabel Jones said at New York Comic Con. This season explores extending the consciousness, the use of memory in criminal investigation, and a world ruled by dating algorithms – to name a few.

Season 3 premiered in October 2016, just weeks before the election that had everyone wondering if they were living in an episode. We're already braced for Season 4, which will debut into a very different reality, just in time for a quick binge before New Year's.

Black Mirror Season 4 premieres Dec. 29 on Netflix.
