In a proof-of-concept collaboration, Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF) and Trimble have developed a prototype module called ‘PFFtag’ that allows swarms of robots to follow humans. The module is equipped onto a Boston Dynamics 'Spot' and is controlled using Trimble’s positioning technology rather than a traditional joystick. The tech allows for humans to lead robots and machines, providing new navigation methods.
