Boy meets pony he bought with 3 years worth of lemonade stand cash

Need some budgeting inspo? Meet Sabastain Lucas, the 7-year-old Australian boy who saved up money he made from his lemonade stand by buy a pony.

Speaking with ABC Brisbane Lucas said he sold homemade lemonade out the front of his family home for A$0.20 ($0.15) a cup over the course of about three years. The young equine enthusiast would often sell out of his popular beverage.

When his parents surprised Lucas with the pony he worked so hard to pitch in for, the 7-year-old was overcome with emotion, letting out joyful sobs and a simple "it's awesome" when asked by his mum how he was feeling.

As for supplies for the 13-year-old pony named 'Tom', Lucas told ABC that he plans on going back to the lemonade stand to save up for a saddle worthy of the long-awaited horse.
