Succession's Roy family is one hell of a dysfunctional mess. Not a day goes by without one of them screwing over their dad/brother/sister/some other poor soul.

But off-screen, they couldn't be more different — at least according to Brian Cox, who plays the family's patriarch Logan Roy

"We're a very happy family," Cox told James Corden. "We really are a community, we gelled from day one."

That instant gelling could well have something to do with the timing of the cast's first script read-through, which coincided with Trump's election night in 2016. "Everybody went off to see what the outcome was gonna be, and of course there were a lot of disappointed people the next day, but we became a family very quickly," Cox added.

Shame their on-screen counterparts can't get along a little better!
