It's been a solid 12 years since Bridget Jones last graced our screens, but the intervening decade hasn't made her any less blundering.

The trailer for Bridget Jones's Baby -- due out in cinemas 16 September 2016 -- was released on Wednesday. The story revolves around Jones becoming pregnant, and the film looks set to feature the usual mish-mash of tangled love interests, slap-stick humour and a healthy dose of British awkwardness.

There's even an intriguing cameo from Ed Sheeran, who can be seen here shaking his head and looking mildly disappointed.
