Beware the Double Bunny. Fear the Double Bunny.

Global Korean pop idol super-phenomenon-star group BTS, whose popularity defies even that clunky word salad of superlatives, appeared via the magic of white backdrops on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert Tuesday night to perform and promote their new single "Butter," which you can watch below.

But the Bangtan Boys also joined Colbert for a sketch where they expand on their repertoire of hand gestures. You know the Finger Heart, but are you ready for J-Hope demonstrating the Long Intestine? For the dreaded Double Bunny? For the glint in RM's eye as he demonstrates the Butter?

It's all good wholesome fun, but the one moment of possible controversy in there is Jungkook's assertion that he invented the Vulcan Salutation, aka the "Live Long and Prosper" sign. In the last year we've lived through a global pandemic and teetered on the brink of a second American Civil War — but if this kicks off a worldwide conflict between Trekkies and ARMYs? I'll be in my bunker, thank you very much.
