One of the best (arguably, the best) games in the Call of Duty catalogue is returning to a console near you. Now, prepare to go dark.

On Thursday, development studio and home to the COD franchise Infinity Ward announced its official plans to release a rebooted version of the 2007 classic Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare —known this time around simply as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare — this fall. The confirmation of the project comes after months of intense speculation from players and press, and means big things for longtime fans of the original trilogy.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25.
