Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), the MCU's new Captain America, finds himself at the center of an international crisis in the teaser trailer for Captain America: Brave New World.
The trailer shows Sam meeting up with President Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford), who quickly becomes the target of an assassination attempt by Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly). But was Isaiah — a victim of the U.S. government's cruel experiments to recreate the Captain America super serum — acting of his own accord? Or is some greater malevolent force pulling the strings behind the scenes? It's up to Sam to find out.
The rest of the trailer offers up some juicy morsels, including Sam wielding the Captain America shield while in his Falcon suit, Giancarlo Esposito wreaking havoc in a potentially villainous role, and Red Hulk making a grand entrance into the MCU.
Captain America: Brave New World hits theaters Feb. 14.
