Netflix is putting its super-spy subscribers to the test.

An interactive companion to the animated series, Carmen Sandiego: To Steal or Not to Steal tasks viewers with life-and-death decision making on behalf of The World's Greatest Thief. When Carmen (voiced by Gina Rodriguez) has her trusty crew Ivy (Abby Trott) and Zack (Michael Hawley) kidnapped by V.I.L.E., she has no choice but to do the league's bidding or see her friends mind-wiped and turned into evil operatives.

Similar to Netflix Interactive's You vs. Wild and Minecraft: Story Mode, this adventure requires viewers choose how our hero proceeds moment to moment. Will Carmen face her foes head-on, or sneak by undetected? Will she make an ally, or go it alone? Should she do what V.I.L.E. demands, or find Zack and Ivy another way?

It's up to Carmen, Player (Finn Wolfhard), and the viewers to save the day in this gamified rescue mission that harkens back to Carmen Sandiego's video game roots. The trailer teases high stakes, shocking twists, and plenty of costume changes — so a replay (or twenty) could be in our future.

Grab a red trench coat and prepare your grappling hook. Carmen Sandiego: To Steal or Not Steal premieres Mar. 10 on Netflix.
